Badges Emblems whatever you want to call them. We have carried out extensive tests and can now confirm Badges are GOLD, the old chestnut about early ones could be silver is a myth. Original HONDA badges were GOLD, the lacquer used in the manufacture gives them that really nice Golden hue, if left on a bike or anywhere else that the SUN can get at them it will turn them silver. Simple as that, so the reproduction ones on EBAY in Silver are copies of a flawed original.  ALL HONDA badges are GOLD, end of story, no more questions about this one. I feel like the guys on Mythbusters.
