RIMS

DID rims were fitted to the CB92 and in most cases were plain with only the Triangle DID logo embossed on them. Later production DID rims had  "DID Japan 1.85 x 18 1810 1417 J18 x 1.85 1079 DOT" embossed on the side of the rim. The information relates the the rim itself, and shows it is a late DID rim, the early ones didn’t have all this info on them, 1.85 x 18 this is the size, and should be used to get new ones, 36 spoke, J18 sets the shape.

SPOKES

The CB92 had double butted spokes on the front wheel and single butted spokes on the rear. (See Pics below) As far as we can tell, this was throughout production. Later supply of spares from Honda, dropped the double butted for the front and used single butted front and rear. So if you got spokes from Honda they had changed, the nipples also changed to  a gold cadmiun plating instead of bright nickel on the early ones. Front spokes have a turned section in the centre whereas the rear are turned for the length after the thicker head section.
